Joe Maertens is a Managing Director on the Distribution Team at Taproot Capital. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Probitas Partners, where he primarily covered institutional limited partners in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Prior to that, Joe spent over 10 years at Atlantic-Pacific Capital and the Credit Suisse Private Fund Group focused on primary fund solutions including origination, due diligence and project management.
 
Mr. Maertens received a B.S. in Finance, B.S. in Accounting, and B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) charterholder. Mr. Maertens is based in New Jersey.
